About

Miranda Sweeney

Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in a tiny town called Brimley; I married my high school sweetheart, Jordan, in July of 2010, and we moved to Big Rapids, Michigan, where I attended Ferris State University.  I graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Business, and am a proud Bulldog for Life!  We currently live in Wisconsin and Kentucky, due to my husband’s job as a college basketball coach and us expecting our first child and doing a home birth (hence living apart, since the home we own, along with our midwife, is in Wisconsin). I am blessed to have my own business with Arbonne as an Independent Consultant, along with my brand PURRE Wellness, where I help people gain true health from struggles that no one can seem to help with. Having my businesses also allow me to stay home and raise our kiddos as we believe God intended for us.

Because of my love for writing and inspiring others, I started this blog in 2017–I truly believe that one of my God-given gifts is encouragement and pouring belief into others.  So, when I was presented with the opportunity to start a blog, I thought it would be the perfect way to do this.  I thought, “Why not give it a go?!”  God had brought the right people into my life at just the right time, and I didn’t want to look back at my life and wonder what it would’ve looked like if I had started a blog.

Furthermore, I’ve always had a passion for fashion and fitness.  I’ve been an athlete all my life with figure skating, running track, and playing softball.  And, shopping for new clothes with my mom was always one of my favorite things to do!  I truly believe that fashion and fitness go hand in hand, for when one is feeling their healthiest, they tend to feel the most confident in their clothes.  However, as cliché as it may be, I believe that true beauty is found on the inside.  For me, that means that my true beauty and identity are found in Christ.  He is my Rock and the Center of my life, where everything else springs from.  I like to say that I have “God Confidence”, as Joyce Meyer would say in her devotional, “The Confident Woman”–not “Self Confidence”.

I pray that through this I will be able to leave a legacy and encourage others through inspiration, fitness, fashion and travel.  My desire for you is that you will truly believe that there is greatness within you, and that you will become all you were created to be.

Much love & thanks to you all!
